We use Terra Nova Quasar tents or equivalent. Tested across the globe on numerous expeditions and weighing approx 4.0kg - these are quality mountain tents. This is ideal as it is free standing i.e. it stands up even if you cannot peg out the guidelines. However it is a bit more time consuming to set up as pitches inner first, then flysheet is thrown over the top and attached. Very sturdy in high winds once pegged out due to it's geodesic design.
